| ANTI-RACISM STUDY Dearest Church Family and Friends Near and Far, Thank you for your responses and for helping us to figure out the best way forward to discuss racism, and look at what it means to be an anti-racist. I know for many of us, we need to learn more about this system and know how we can respond and be part of the solution of understanding, healing, and a way forward. Please know this study has taken longer to put together than I thought it would. Finding the resources and working through the questions that have already been asked in some of the responses to sign up for the study is hard. And in conversation with my colleague and friend, Pastor Terri Jo Crego, we thought this would be a great thing for our congregations to do together. Terri Jo is the new pastor of Bee Ridge Presbyterian in Sarasota. With our technology options, Terri Jo and Devon can work together to lead this study, learn with our congregations, and grow together as the body of Christ. With doing so, we are offering two timeframes for people to joining the study. You are invited to join us on Wednesdays at 10 am or 6 pm. This will be a 6-8 week study, depending on how we are doing and processing the material. Our study will begin on Wednesday, July 1st at 10 am or 6 pm. It will be a study through zoom.
