Dearest Wintergarden Faith Community,
As we continue to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world, let us do so with love and hope. Our weekly email of prayers is a way for us to share the prayers shared in worship, through the food pantry, and our various other ministries with a larger group. Due to privacy needs we will only include the first names of people and not last names. We also know this list will not be perfect and in need of constant updating. We will review this every week and be mindful of how we are being asked to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world.
Blessings,
Pastor Devon

Prayers of Joy
- Maya asked that we all pray, “that we have the church in all of us!”
And the church all said, “Amen!” - Pray that we are all continually transformed by God’s love and we help that love touch all we meet!
- We continue to celebrate the work teams – this week from Elizabeth City, NC!
Concerns
- Prayers for Minerva’s family. She passed from cancer recently.
- Also for Evelyn’s family who passed from cancer as well.
- We also all continue to pray for Devon’s sabbatical – that it is all it should be.
- Kymmie aske for Colleen as well.
- Cheryl asked for prayers for her back to heal so she can get back to work.
- Wendy asked for prayer for her dear friend in MI who is in the hospital again after a series of falls after surgery.
- Prayers also for Cheryl’s brother in Georgia.
- We all continue to pray for our food pantry clients and volunteers.
- Pray also for all all our partners in disaster relief and for more work teams as we have almost none for the fall.
- Pray also for the Homeless Coalition and the other non-profits in our community trying to help vulnerable populations.
- For cooler weather and rain. (We’re in a drought after all.)
- Pray also for those that are struggling with their mental health. For the lost, afraid, or lonely – for peace of mind, heart, and soul.
- World peace and peace for each of us during the coming months.
Traveling Mercies
- For all those traveling.
