In 2025 as part of our Matthew 25 Initiative, Wintergarden joined the Social Justice Alliance of Southwest Florida. This group gathers once a month for their meeting and hosts monthly socials. On Saturday March 28, they are hosting a “Save Democracy for All” Conference. It is a free event for the community and will be highly educational. We hope some folks from Wintergarden will plan to attend this event. It is located at the Venice Community Center on the island of Venice. Do you have some shoes hanging around your house that you don’t wear anymore and would like to give them to a good cause? Charlotte County Pride is conducting a shoe drive and we have a box in our lobby. If you can, please bring in shoes that are gently worn, used, or new that you no longer need to help Charlotte County Pride reach their goal of 1,000 pairs!
Wintergarden is developing a NEW website. Check out our website and let us know what you think. You can register to have access to the church directory as well. Go to the upper corner where it says “sign in” to create an account. Here is a screen shot of what the page will look like. Online giving will go through this website as well. There are a few more things that need to be finished, but we are almost 100% done. We hope this website is more straight forward and easier to navigate for everyone.

In order to save on monthly expenses, we are making some transitions for in regards to our monthly subscription plans. To do this, we are switching from On Realm to ChurchTrac. This means if you give electronically online, you will need to cancel your online giving with On Realm and create an account with ChurchTrac through the new website: wintergarden.churchtrac.com. In the upper right hand corner, you can create an account. Once you create it, Pastor Devon has to approve you. Once you are approved, then you can have access to the directory and set up online giving.

Join us on Monday mornings at 8:00 am for lectio divina, an approach to scripture that invites us to listen, reflect, respond, and rest in the Word of God.
