As we continue to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world, let us do so with love and hope. Our weekly email of prayers is a way for us to share the prayers shared in worship, through the food pantry, and our various other ministries with a larger group. Due to privacy needs we will only include the first names of people and not last names. We also know this list will not be perfect and in need of constant updating. We will review this every week and be mindful of how we are being asked to pray for one another, our community, our country, and our world.

Prayers of JoyWe celebrated a list of birthdays this week! These include: Jeannie, Steve C, Janet, and Pastor Devon! We’re very glad all of you were born! Prayers of joy and thanksgiving for Janet and Larry’s dad, Bill. We also celebrate with Colleen M’s new grandson! And Cheryl reminded us all that Pastor Devon will be back with us in just over two weeks! We celebrate that while also praying this time is restorative for her. We’re also very grateful for Pastor Syl’s willingness to step into her big shoes.
Concerns
Prayers for Miss Cecilia and her family. She injured her knee again, which resulted in a trip to the ER. At this time Rick and Kymmie believe it’s likely she will need surgery, but they will know more next week. [This happened after church on Sunday.]
Healing prayers also for Heather’s son, Ben who is very ill. [Heather is with him now.]
Pray also for Barbara’s husband Fred who is starting chemo.
Syl requested prayer for First Pres’ music director, Sue, who is in the hospital.
Pray also for Gale’s sister-in-law Julie who is having surgery this week.
Wendy requests prayer for her cousin, Norm. His prostrate cancer has spread to his bones and is now causing him pain. Please pray for pain relief and peace for all involved. Also for quality care going forward.
We pray also for area food banks, including our own – for the clients, volunteers, and community at large. The numbers of clients are increasing at an alarming rate.
Cheryl asks for prayers for each – Rick and Kymmie.
Cheryl also asked for prayer for continued healing for her back, for upcoming therapy appointments and for a new peer advisor.
Also please continue to pray for Cheryl’s brother and sister.
